Meet Jennifer Zach
Author | Speaker | Executive Coach
As an author, speaker, and catalyst for embodied leadership, I have spent my career exploring a fundamental question: How can leaders cultivate the clarity, presence, and resilience needed to navigate complexity while building workplaces where people and business thrives? The answer, I've found, lies in somatic awareness—the practice of integrating body and mind to unlock deeper wisdom, regulate stress, and foster authentic connection.
My book, Somatic Awareness: Leading with Body Intelligence, and the 3N Model™ I developed—Notice, Name, Navigate—offer practical frameworks for leaders who recognize that regenerative performance begins with nervous system regulation and embodied presence. This work bridges neuroscience, somatic psychology, and real-world leadership practice to help executives reduce burnout, strengthen psychological safety, build trust and lead with the kind of impact our organizations urgently need now and for future generations.
Leadership is not just what we think—it's what we sense, what we feel, and how we show up in our bodies. I teach leaders to access this often-untapped resource, transforming how they make decisions, build trust, and shape cultures of collaboration and growth.
My thought leadership has been featured in leading coaching and learning publications, and I am a sought-after speaker at the intersection of executive presence, body intelligence, and the future of work and leadership. I serve on the board of directors for Berrett-Koehler Publishers and on the advisory board for the Association for Talent Development (ATD) Hawkeye Chapter—roles that allow me to contribute to shaping how we develop leaders for today and tomorrow's challenges.
My Work
My research and practice center on somatic awareness, nervous system regulation, and embodied leadership. I am particularly interested in how leaders can use body intelligence to build trust, foster psychological safety, reduce burnout, and cultivate the clarity and presence required for meaningful collaboration and sustained performance in today's dynamic workplace.
When we learn to Notice what's happening in our bodies, Name our internal experiences with curiosity and compassion, and Navigate from a regulated nervous system, we unlock new possibilities—not just for individual leaders, but for entire organizations seeking to create environments where innovation, engagement, and human flourishing become the norm.
This is the work of shaping the future: helping leaders integrate mind and body, transforming stress into insight, and building the foundations for regenerative growth that honors both performance and well-being.
Invited to Thinkers50 London Summit and Awards Gala
I still remember the moment I stood alongside legend Marshall Goldsmith at the Thinkers50 London Summit and Awards Gala—surrounded by the world's most influential voices in leadership and organizational thinking. Being invited to that gathering was more than an honor; it was a recognition that the future of work and leadership must be grounded in something we've long overlooked: the intelligence of the body.
Recognized as a Woman of Influence
I was honored to be recognized by Influential Women as a Woman of Influence—a moment of reflection that coincided with my participation in the Thinkers50 London Summit and Awards Gala, where the theme of regeneration deeply resonated. It reinforced my belief that leadership today is not only about performance, but about renewal, resilience, and creating conditions where people and systems can truly thrive.
